Wake RJ3 Solar Landscape Buffer

For the Wake RJ3 Solar Landscape Buffer Project, our team installed a planting arrangement per 100 linear feet that included: 4 deciduous canopy trees, 1 evergreen tree, 3 deciduous understory trees, 7 evergreen understory trees, and 75 shrubs. Each planting area was treated with Mirimichi Green CarbonizPN soil amendment to improve moisture retention and soil health. Installation also included mulching and staking of all plant material. This project included all labor, materials, and equipment necessary.

Plants were kept covered and protected prior to installation to ensure their health and viability before planting.

A mini excavator with an auger attachment was used to dig precise planting holes for the new trees and shrubs, ensuring efficient and consistent installation.

After tree installation, each tree was properly staked to provide stability during establishment. Mulch was then applied around the base with CarbonizPN to retain moisture, suppress weeds, and promote healthy root development.
